Intriguing Japanese ceramic. The green dripping glaze and iron drawing are typical of Oribe. It sits on a stand that is easily carried. Perhaps it could be used as a serving piece with cheeses or set it on a table where it can be admired as a piece of art. Does the green field evoke water with lily pads nearby?
