Watercolor of a white iris bouquet by Harriette Draper Gale (American, b.1889). Giltwood frame, linen liner, and gold fillet. Signed lower right. Image, 16"H x 13.25"L. She was active/lived in Massachusetts and Washington DC and Houston, Texas. She was a pupil of Lucia F. Fuller. Harriette Gale is known for being a miniature painter, a portrait artist, a decorator, and a teacher. Exhibited at the Pan Pacific Exposition 1915.
