An expressive impasto oil painting by Joyce Davenport, dated 1983, depicting a majestic shipwrecked vessel at sunset. The vibrant sky transitions from warm oranges and yellows to soft blues, casting a dramatic light over the calm waters and rugged foreground. Two seagulls soar above, while another stands on a rocky outcrop near the boat. The thick application of paint creates a textured, dynamic surface, characteristic of the impasto technique. Housed in a grey-blue framed.

Very Good, minor wear consistent with age.
