Nature-printed Bradbury Seaweed, handcrafted frame, antique print c. 1859

Offered is a framed seaweed print by Henry Bradbury. The print is from Bradbury's 1859 edition of British Seaweed and is a fine example of a nature print, a process popularized and perfected by him in which the actual flora was used to create a type of mold used for printing.

The print is framed under museum-grade conservation matting. The frame is custom crafted here in our shop.
