Very handsome set of two early British armchairs in Chippendale style with solid urn-shaped back splats and turned front legs with stretchers. They retain their original finish and rush seats in good shape, and are in very fine vintage condition, circa late 19th century. Built to last for years and years to come, their simple classic lines will never look dated.
