A 19th century French Napoleon III Period child's bed made of solid cherry wood, with column form supports and iron curtain rails. Beautiful book matched wood panels and side rails with ebonized trim. Old mattress upholstered in striped ticking fabric is worn and stained, as found. Turned finials, brass sabots, and one slat have been replaced. The 2.5" finials will be removed for shipping. This regal bed would be perfect for a cherished pet or antique doll collection. Circa 1850-1870
