This one-of-a-kind Murano art glass piece was created exclusively for the high-end CasaBique company in the 1970s, during a period when CasaBique collaborated with respected Murano glass artisans and studios-including masters such as Lino Tagliapietra, Archimede Seguso, and Carlo Scarpa-whose work shaped the era's most innovative Italian glass design.

Handblown using the striscia technique, the piece combines luminous milk glass with embedded black canes to create a crisp, evenly spaced vertical stripe pattern.

The shade measures approximately 18 inches tall and 12 inches wide, formed into a full teardrop silhouette with a smooth, rounded body that narrows cleanly toward the top.

The distinctive thick, rolled, outward-curled lip at the base gives the piece a beautifully finished edge, adding a touch of visual weight while allowing the vertical striping to flow uninterrupted from top to bottom.

The glass was adorned with a vintage silver-toned cap and suspended from a chrome metal chain, completing the pendant with a clean, elevated finish that is modern and timeless.
