A Louis XV style French miniature sample chest made of solid walnut with serpentine front and three dovetailed drawers. Nice hand-carved floral decoration. Good craftsmanship and condition. Perfect for storing treasured objects or for use as a jewelry box or men's valet. These types of chests were traditionally used by traveling salesman to showcase their craftsmanship and furniture designs to potential clients. Circa 1960s
