Antique 20th Century Japanese solid silver cigarette case. The front and reverse are intricately engraved and enriched with gold and multi-coloured enamel detailing. The decoration depicts serene village scenes with a pagoda temple and small islands in the foreground, while Mount Fuji rises in the background, capped with snow. The interior continues the theme, featuring a reversed interpretation of the exterior design. Hallmarked "OKUBO 950 SILVER" (High purity silver).
