Antique 20th Century English solid silver letter opener. The top of the letter opener is set with a domed circular boss mounted on the silver handle. It displays a crowned bugle horn in relief, with a Tudor rose centred within the curve of the horn. The detailing is crisp and well defined, giving the piece a clear military character.

Hallmarked English silver (925 Standard), London, year 1915 (u), Maker's mark AACoLtd (Asprey & Co).
