An exceptional WWII-era German D.F. 10x80 Flak observation binocular system. This model features a 45-degree angled viewing ocular and was originally designed by Emil Busch AG, later standardised and manufactured by the renowned optics firm Jos. Schneider & Co. (wartime code dkl).
Engineered for daytime aircraft tracking and nighttime searchlight direction, these binoculars feature high-grade optical prisms and built-in internal colour filters. The main body is constructed of durable cast aluminum alloy. This specific example has been stripped of its original military paint finish and professionally polished to a high-mirror shine, transforming a piece of authentic military history into a striking contemporary decorative statement piece. Mounted on a matching adjustable tripod.
