Vintage mid 20th Century Indian solid silver and hand painted enamel chess set, complete with 32 pieces. Presented in a velvet box with a silk fabric chessboard. One side features blue enamel colour scheme, the other green.

The kings and queens are depicted as elephants with howdahs and parasols, adorned with pearl pendants. Bishops are represented by camels, rooks by elephants, knights by horsemen, and pawns as infantry armed with shields and swords. Each base is Hallmarked "B.H.I. Silver" Jaipur, circa 1950's.

CONDITION:
In Great Condition - Minor enamel loss however it is not noticeable. Please refer to photographs.
