Of tapering form, the glass body is cut with a selection of decorative patterns with a mounted solid silver handle, neck, hinged lid and removable glass tube for the crushed ice. This massive pitcher can hold up to 2 liters of your drink of choice. This claret jug is as relevant today as it was then, it makes a fantastic conversation piece and wonderful as part of a collection of barware in the modern home. Perfect for a wide variety of drinks. Hallmarked English solid silver (925 standard), London, year 1906 (l), Maker's mark JG&S (John Ginsell & Sons).
