Antique early 20th Century Chinese export solid silver cigarette case, finely decorated with battle scenes on one side and a gold initials set within a central shield shaped cartouche. The reverse features an intricately engraved blossom tree. Upon opening the case, the inside reveals the hallmark "HC for Hung Chong & Co, along with Chinese markings. (Hung Chong & Co, Club Street, Canton and 11b Nankin Road, Shanghai.
