Antique 19th Century Victorian iron "temperance" basin. Made after François Briot (1545-1620). The center has a classical figure of Temperance inside a border of four cartouches interspersed with carytids. The outer rim has further classical cartouches of Minerva and the arts from the time. This basin serves as a testament to the exceptional craftsmanship of the 19th Century, boasting remarkable detail and being impeccably preserved. It is of a small size, perfect for any house or study as a decorative wall ornament.
