A vintage 20th Century Italian 18k yellow gold necklace featuring a boticanical inspired design set with natural opal and small natural diamonds. The opals are arranged in a soft pear shaped settings, displaying flashes of green, pink, red and iridescent colour as they catch the light. Small brilliant diamonds accent the flowing gold links and form sparkling leaf details. In the center of the necklace three opals create a delecate butterfly like motif complimented with diamonds. Both the opals and diamonds are loupe clean and of exceptional quality. Hallmarked to the clasp 750 (18k 750/1000 purity).
