Antique 19th Century Victorian solid silver and cut glass spirit flask, unusually large, of rounded oval form, with a plain hinged and twist lid, the glass body hand engraved with large and very elaborate initials (SJV). Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, year 1874 (t), Maker Unknown. A real conversation piece and a superb piece of history reminiscent of the bygone era.
