Antique 20th Century Waltham open face pocket watch housed in an English made Dennison 14ct gold filled Sun & Moon case. The watch has a white Waltham U.S.A. dial with black Roman numeral hour markers, outer minute track and subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock. Fitted with black hands, including a traditional spade-style hour hand, together with a separate subsidiary seconds hand. The case was manufactured by Dennison and carries the original 25 year guarantee: “ENGLISH MAKE GUARANTEED TO BE MADE OF TWO PLATES OF 14CT GOLD WITH PLATE OF COMPOSITION BETWEEN AND TO WEAR 25 YEARS.” Case serial number: 505686.
