Description
Antique vertical stationary steam engine with four-column frame, single cylinder, side-mounted valve chest, flywheel and cast iron base. Accompanied by an old handwritten tag identifying it as a 1/8 H.P. steam engine and stating that it was made in Boston, purchased in Toronto, Canada and brought to this country in 1884 by Asa Ackroyd.
