Description
In the late 1940's, a process of transferring images to fabric and canvas was discovered.. I believe this estate sale find of a grandmotherly woman's portrait is a great example of this. There is so much expression and character in her face.

Condition Notes: Overall good vintage condition. The canvas has been stretched over masonite board and it has been mounted to a wood gallery type wood frame. Canvas is glued to the frame edge A small glue dot near the top, likely from the original affixing process.
