Exceptional Palisander ice bucket in a columnar form with flared base, integral handle and carved lid as designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk. Beautiful grain and patina, the base is branded with the mark "Palisander/Dansk Designs/Denmark/JHQ/(C)". This bucket is from the "Rare Woods" line, a group of wares made from exotic woods from around the globe, dating to the early 1960s. Dimensions: 8.5"Dia. x 17.5"H to top of handle; 14.5"H to top of bucket; 8.75" handle end to handle end.
