Description

Riverbank is a mixed media composition by Georges Manzana Pissarro (1871-1961), the son of Camille Pissarro. Executed with gold and silver leaf, this atmospheric landscape blends Impressionist and Symbolist influences, depicting a riverbank framed by abstract trees and vivid foliage under a glowing sky. The use of metallic pigments creates a luminous surface that shifts with the light, as seen in the signed "manzana Pissarro" in the lower right. Artwork: 12 W" x 9" H. Framed: 24" W x 23" H.
