Vintage 20th century painting on canvas reminiscent of English artist George Stubbs. The horse and rider are a handsome pair, accompanied by their best hunting dog no doubt. They stand in front of a beautiful landscape background.

It is signed on the bottom right, John Matassa (American, Delaware 1945-2005.)

The canvas measures 30"w x 24"t, the frame is 33"w x 27"t.
