(Disney, 1957) An original "Duck for Hire" animation cel from the "Disneyland" television show in which Donald Duck quits Disney and strikes out to find alternate employment. Splicing together elements from earlier Disney short films, "Duck for Hire" features scenes from "Lucky Number" (1951), "Straight Shooters" (1947), "Truant Officer Donald" (1941), "Lighthouse Keeping" (1946), "Bellboy Donald" (1942) and "All in a Nutshell" (1949). The cel is paired with a color copy background that would have been sold together at the Disneyland Art Corner. Donald has an image size of 5.25" x 2.5" on a slightly trimmed 9.25"x7.5" cel with 7.5" x 9.5" background and is in very condition with minimal production wear.
