Description: A Continental Renaissance Revival wall bracket modeled in high relief with a courtly couple, the woman holding a basket of flowers and the man wearing romanticized armor and a plumed cap. The figures stand before an architectural backplate above a projecting shaped shelf. The lower corbel is enriched with opposing C-scrolls, a central urn or floral-bud motif, and pendant acanthus ornament, all beneath a dark bronze-toned painted finish. Fitted with a vertical metal hanging strip to the reverse.

Substantial flaking and losses to the painted coating on the reverse, exposing the pale composition substrate. Scattered age cracks, chips, abrasions, and finish wear, with lesser edge losses visible to the front. Hanging hardware is present but has not been tested. Professional installation is recommended.
