PROVENANCE : Estate of Esther Torosian Fuller 1902-1980 (Mrs. Fenner Fuller). Lent by her to the Oakland Museum for exhibition. Esther Fuller was an artist, painter, studio potter and patron of the arts. She was one of the founders of the Oakland Museum and later, became the Art Commissioner of Oakland, California. When she died in 1980 her collection was left to her sister, Elizabeth Nielson. Purchased from Elizabeth in 1983, she stated that her sister told her it was by Bernard Maybeck.

CONDITION : Good condition. Frame with wear. No glass in place over the painting.
