24" Unmarked 1930"s all original LENCI/type smoking boudoir doll. This doll resembles the U.S. actress and singer, Marlene Dietrich. (Born 1904 in Germany.) All felt construction with molded mask face, painted side glance eyes, features. Blonde mohair wig. Swivel head, 5 pc. jointed body (at shoulders, hips). Dressed in wool felt 2 pc. blue suit with pink wool felt buttons, pockets, cuffs. Wonderful black oilcloth high heel shoes. Condition: age loss on right hand. Age fading/discoloration on clothing. Loss on back of left leg in cuff area. This is still a very special, rare doll! It is being sold AS IS. NOTE: prop chair does not go with this doll.
