Description: A vintage Coca-Cola portable countertop cooler and fountain dispenser with a red painted metal body, domed lid, chrome trim and carrying handle. The front displays the cream-colored "Drink Coca-Cola" script and raised "Ice Cold" lettering. A side-mounted dispensing assembly has two operating handles and three outlets. Additional Coca-Cola advertising graphics decorate the sides.
Marks: Manufacturer's plate reads "Designed for Coca-Cola in Glasses," "Dispenser No. 57980" and "This Dispenser Manufactured by the Multiplex Faucet Company, Chicago, Ill." The plate lists United States patent numbers 2,121,841, 2,148,662 and 2,349,441.
