He married Willeta Myrtle Goodspeed and the couple had one child, Lou Ann Bailey.LaForce Bailey painted in Provincetown, Massachusetts each summer for many years and served as president of the Provincetown Art Association at one time. LaForce's work is in the permanent collection of the Provincetown Art Association/Museum.
