An elegant, windswept brass-colored abstract metal wall sculpture by Curtis Jere. Signed: "C. Jere 1982."

Often attributed as a single designer, Curtis Jere (or C. Jere) was actually an amalgamation of the names of its two founders, brothers-in-law Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels, who formed the company in 1963. Today, Jere works are still manufactured under the Artisan House brand.

Not solid brass, but appears a base metal/copper plated in brass. Intricate weld work is visible. Three mounting rings to the rear allow for vertical or horizontal hanging. Generally excellent condition, though with normal oxidation spots and patination commensurate with age and use. Some bends to the leaves (some appear intentional, some appear not).

A wonderful piece with a distinct look. Very versatile piece.
