Handmade of reed, this basket was commonly used by Chinese local villagers in 19th century to 20th century to hold sewing or knitting tools, fabrics, or food. Very durable with high quality craftsmanship, the basket remains sturdy over a century. Natural patina shone in a warm tone making it so cozy and pretty. It can be used to hold books, fabric or other objects.
