Description
Resist-stitched, indigo-dyed Ndop cloth used for clothing and ritual ceremonies, made from handwoven strips of cotton and dyed with natural indigo with raffia to create tribal and geometric patterns, from the Bamileke of the grasslands of Cameroon. Made between the 1930s and '50s.
