A French earthenware, hand-painted square asparagus plate, circa 1890-1910.

Majolica glazed asparagus tips are shown at each corner. Floral sprays are strewn across the front of a mold with a deep sauce well. The rim shows a painted lined edging. Each plate in this pattern is different.
