A beautiful turn of the 19th/20th century early rocking horse, handcrafted, carved from solid wood, polychrome painted, having original horse hair tail, elegant soft velvet fur like fabric finish, complete with saddle, stirrups and reins. Beautiful patina. Lots of rustic character and primitive charm. A classic example of late Victorian era antique American folk art. Ready to be placed next to the Christmas tree, in the childrens bedroom or as a decorative accent piece. Circa 1900
