Tazza - Italian for 'cup' - a wide but shallow saucer-like dish either mounted on a stem and foot or on a foot alone.
My grandmother would always present our favorite candies on this sweet, handpainted, reticulated, porcelain dish when we visited her in her home.
The angelic maiden and her cherub tell a sweet story of gathering flowers.
