1980s John Bergen Postmodern Bright Yellow Exterior, White cased interior, Abstract Winding, Curving Ceramic Vase by John Bergen, considered the Ettore Sottsass of Canada.

His collective of artists working under his guidance, became known as the John Bergen Studio.

His works usually stick to a matte black background ceramic vessel with a dotted line and a mix of pinks and purples.

But some of his most excited works are those bold pieces in black and white and his brilliantly colored forms like this one .

The mouth of the vase is very large and asymmetrical, the body is a rollercoaster of form
