Description

- We love mixing and matching stripes. And this pillow, custom made from a vintage 19th-century French ticking fabric, has wide and skinny bands that would be essential in any dynamic mix. From its humble beginnings as mattress material to its later reincarnation (and star turn) in Napoleon's handsome campaign tent to its latest iteration as a fresh country-house staple, ticking stripes have adaptability and true staying power. They're also remarkably durable with a tight weave originally developed to keep feather and straw bedding in-and vermin out.
