Circa 1940s. This compact has a deep powder well with a large, fluffy puff... and a beautiful lipstick case that slides out like a tiny drawer -to hold your own favorite lipstick. The puff has never been used. The compact has a intricate lacquered flower design on the front. It is a combination of beautiful blue, pink and white on a black background. This compact still has the original paperwork which came with it. The paper says there may have been a mirror with this, but there is none here.

There is a some wear on the front cover as in the picture, but the inside looks as if it has never been used.
