The compotes feature openwork designs of spade and club shapes, and hand-engraved leaves around the rim. The compotes are monogrammed in the center with 'BMP' in elegant script. These are very elegantly designed and well-made pieces of silver, and would be an asset to any home or collection. The underside of each compote is stamped with the Tiffany & Co. hallmark, sterling 925-1000 and the initial 'M' for the company director between 1907-1947, John C. Moore II. These pieces are in excellent condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs. Each compote stands 2 7/8 inches tall and is approximately 7 inches in diameter. The compotes weigh 589 grams or 20.8 ounces.
