Very unique and rare vintage wall decor piece from the mid century era. It's a faux block of wood with relief carving of a man on a horse done in the tribal/primitive style achieved from a molding process. Lots of nice details with a very rustic appearance that gives this piece a strong tiki presence. The material looks to be a very strong and hard high-density foam very similar to sandpaper blocks (but much more dense) to the best of my observation or possibly just plaster or some other synthetic composite. You will probably not find another piece like this anywhere!
