Mexican Retablo (devotional painting) of the Virgin Mary with cloth fabric and a decorative gold trim, on metal. I purchased the Retablo in the late 1980s at a gallery along the Camino Real (Royal Road) in the historic Mission Trail in El Paso, Texas. The current condition of the retablo is the same as when I purchased it (I don't know the actual era of when it was made).
The Retablo needs some TLC and very gentle cleaning, preferably by a professional who specializes in Folk Art. .
