Description
This is approximately 35 feet or 11 generous yards of outstanding barkcloth in a green and red floral pattern on a white ground. It is preshrunk and color tested. The texture of the cotton is more like linen than the typical rough barkcloth and it's white background is unusual for the period. It would make a sophisticated set of curtains or upholstered sofa. It is an upholstery weight fabric. Made by Imperial in the 1940s and 50s in the Westbury pattern, it is in excellent condition. No stains, tears or fading. Dimensions are: 11 + yards long and 45" wide. The repeat is 16" by 21". I have more available if needed.
