Beautiful vintage American hand blown, purple and blue pulled peacock feather design, art glass bud flower vase. The vase is signed and dated by the artist Joseph Morel. Inscribed on the bottom is "Zellique Studio 10-1987, JM FV107". Produced by the Zellique Studio in Benicia, California (now closed). The vase measures 7" tall and 3 3/4" across.

Zellique's founder Joseph Morel began his career as a glass artist at California State University, Chico in 1971. Graduating in 1973, he found employment at Orient and Flume Art Glass, where he was mentored by visiting European glass masters over the next seven years. In 1980, Joseph opened Zellique Art Glass in Benicia, California, producing high quality unique designs for the next 25 years.
