Description
Framed hand colored lithograph by the well known 19th century English ornithological artist John Gould (1804-1881). This work was included in Gould's "The Birds of Great Britain" which was published in London from 1862 through 1873. Erythrosterna Parva, or red-breasted flycatcher. Recently set with acid free materials in a high quality gold frame from Roggenkamp that features uniquely engineered clamps for easy removal, etc. The sheet dimensions are approximately 14.75" x 21.5". The mat opening is 11" x 18.5". Frame dimensions below.

Condition Notes: The print has some irregularities including what appears to be small creases, small spots, and small scuff marks. Additionally, there is a 8" crease at the lower left as well as a series of faint horizontal marks above the word "Ertyhrosterna". Please see photos. All of the above varies in prominence based on surrounding lighting, etc. No apparent fading of colors. No rips or tears. The frame and glass are in very good condition.
