Stunning Art Deco lamp from Loevsky & Loevsky featuring a partially draped nude female holding a bird. Loevsky & Loevsky was a lighting company from New Jersey that started in the 1930s and lasted till the 1970s. This lamp was probably made in the 1930s due to its obvious Art Deco styling but I'm not absolutely certain on that. The original stained glass shade that separated the female figure from the light bulb is missing but one possible replacement idea is to get a piece of frosted acrylic/plexiglass at any Tap Plastic store or any other plastic shop and have it cut to any shape you want (circular would be nice as it can represent the sun or the moon). The maker's stamp is seen on the back side of the female figure (see photo). This lamp is made of either bronze or brass, I'm not certain which. Takes one small candle bulb, as shown in the photos.
