Perfect for serving assorted cocktail snacks - such as peanuts, pretzels, Wasabi chick peas, and Cheddar gold fish - this is a circa. 1970s partitioned bowl made of Monkey Pod wood in the Philippines.

The bowl is perfectly safe for food, yet can also be used for serving side dishes, or garnishes (such as chopped onions, Coriander, Parsley, Basil leaves, Parmesan cheese, etc), and can also be used as a catch-all on a console for keys and pocket ephemera, or on a dresser or in one of its drawers for arranging jewelry, or even on a desk for sorting paper-clips, stamps, USB flash-drives, etc.

The bowl measures approximately 12" x 12 1/2" x 2", and the four (4) partitions each measure approximately 5" x 5 1/2" x 1 1/2".

Monkey Pod wood is perfect for food, but should never be soaked or immersed in water to prevent it from warping. It is recommended to wash with mild detergent and dry with a dish-cloth.
