Fabulous early- to mid-20th century hand-painted, tall decorative panel with exotic animals in a landscape in the styles of de Gournay and Gracie. At 5 feet tall, this vintage panel is a striking choice for a large-scale artwork. The panel is Asian and has been painted on silver-leafed paper mounted on wood. Subject includes blue and red parrots or macaws with antelopes - including one 4-horned antelope (which is found only in India and Nepal). It is bordered by a flat, thin black frame. The back is lined with a patterned Asian fabric as shown.
