The dish has ruffled or scalloped sides and a wonderful band of threaded design along the rim. The bowl has been polished to a high finish. The underside has a monogram of the letters J and K over the letter B(therefore you have to flip the bowl upside down to see the monogram), a traditional monogram symbolizing a marriage. The underside is marked with the Stone hallmark, sterling and the initial C for craftsman Edgar L. Caron, who worked for Stone from 1924 to 1937. This piece is in fabulous overall condition. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs. The dish measures 7 1/2 inches in diameter, is 1 1/4 inches tall and weighs 294 grams or 10.4 ounces.
