This game table was given to my mother from her father for my parents first home in Maryland around 1938. My parents kept this table throughout their marriage because at the time it was quite a luxurious gift coming out of the depression in the western part of Maryland & represented some of the love & sacrifice that got them their start. It also was extremely versatile, it initially was their only table, dining table, side table & game table. It has found a place in various rooms in our home as well.
