Elegant Austrian Biedermeier Writing Desk (Exact Replica)

Description

Beautiful writing desk. Faithful reproduction of original Austrian early 19th century Biedermeier desk in walnut veneer with ash inlay, with leather desktop writing surface. French polish finish. Beautiful detailing on keyhole (with key), ribbon detailing on top back and drawer faces. Decorative detailing on outside and inside of legs. Leather desktop writing surface with gold embossing and edge detailing. Inside of drawers are finished. Top (back) height is 40.25", top of desk surface is 30" from the floor, 26" deep. Desk writing surface is 18.75" deep, 50" wide. One long drawer (50") wide below desk surface. 4 small top drawers with lovely drawer pulls matching the keyhole. Never used as a desk, decorative only.
